Is it worth getting off at every port?
No. And people who have paid for the itinerary find that hard to hear.
Some stops deserve a full day. Others are an industrial dock, a shuttle bus, and a street selling the same three things as the last island. Staying aboard for one of those is not wasting money you already spent — the ship is empty, the pool is yours, and you will be better company at dinner.
The opposite is also true and more interesting: the port that looked unpromising is often the one people remember, usually because they walked out of the terminal instead of booking anything.
The thing this board could genuinely build is a sense of which is which. If you have been somewhere that was worth skipping, say so plainly. That is much harder to find online than another list of top ten excursions, because nobody selling excursions wants to write it.
